Saturday, December 2, is going to be a big day for Mena: the annual Christmas Parade will march right down Mena Street. And to make it easier for you to watch, plan to stop by the Mena Art Gallery ahead of time. There will be a bake sale going on from 10 am till 8 pm and there will be hot drinks to warm you up before and after the parade.
You can also get some more names marked off your Christmas shopping list at the same time. The gallery’s annual Christmas sale is now up and there are dozens of unique gifts to select from, all made by our talented local artists. You will find everything from paintings to quilts, pottery to jewelry, metal sculptures to carved wood.
So you can accomplish a batch of things with just one trip: shopping for gifts, watching the parade, and picking up something sweet to take home with you.
