Call for Entries for Americana Exhibit

On Tuesday, July 5, Mena Art Gallery will accept entries for the Americana Exhibit between 10 am and 4 pm.

Now is the time for all artists to select (or create if you get busy right away) art that represents America or America’s values or who served the people or our country in a special way—not limited to the military. The art should represent America, it’s people, nature, scenery, and crafts.

We are looking for art in any of these categories: painting, drawing, sculpture, folk art, woodworking, photography, fiber art, clay art, or metalwork.

If you would like to honor someone who has served this country in a special way, bring a photo (8×10 or smaller) on July 5th. It will be copied and displayed in the show.

There will be a people’s choice award. For full details, visit http://www.MenaArtGallery.org, or go by the gallery at 607 Mena Street to pick up an entry form and get answers to your questions. Or you can phone 479-394-3880 during regular gallery hours: 11 am to 2 pm Tuesdays, 10 am to 3 pm Wednesdays through Saturdays.
